1. Download the correct WoW client for the server's expansion (e.g. 3.3.5a for WotLK) 2. Navigate to your WoW installation folder 3. Openrealmlist.wtf in a text editor
4. Replace the contents with: set realmlist
5. Save the file and launch WoW
6. Create an account on the server's website, then log in
Important: Never use your retail WoW credentials on private servers.
